Huge fan of Forrest Gump, Tom Hanks, and shrimp! Been wanting to go to this restaurant since it opened up finally got a chance to stop by and thankfully was not disappointed!Menu items and drinks menu are quite pricey but understandable for the area, the quality of food, and the amount of food that you receive. Will definitely return for a special occasion! Also loved that they included a cup souvenir with certain drinks and they do not just rinse the cup that they served you in they let you take home a brand-new cup unused. no complaints. Also love the run Forrest run sign in which you flip over to stop for stop if you need the server to come over to your table. Meaning you don't get so much server Interruption when enjoying a meal with someone. great Decor peace and great way to play into the theme.

I was near Times Square around December 2019 with my kids and wife.We were exhausted as most restaurants were busy with 1 plus hour wait, so we tried Bubba Gump.Great food, has a 50's feel to it. Nice and neat design, Waiter service is good. The food prices are reasonable. I felt that the menu was somewhat limited for a Sea Food restaurant.

Food was excellent! Atmosphere well themed, wait staff quick and friendly. Once you get to the host station to give your name (there was a line) they take your mobile number and text you instead of using a pager (you can also check your place in line to get seated - very nice!) Food was pricey though for the quantity - app, dinner for 3, dessert for 1 = $135ish

Cool location, right in the centre of Times Square... But that's partly the problem, if you're sat facing the windows, the light from the monitors is almost blindingly bright.Food was lovely, staff were friendly. Restaurant has a charming personality, especially if you're a Forrest Gump fan

If you’re a local, don’t even bother and just go somewhere else. My husband and I decided to give ourselves a “holiday city tourist experience” by coming from Long Island and staying in midtown overnight on a Friday night, eating here and doing touristy things that us real New Yorkers never actually get to do. This place is most definitely just for tourists w/ their subpar seafood and overpriced drinks...I kid you not, I ordered a margarita that I believe came up to like $22. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve probably paid that for a drink or two before but not at the McDonald’s of seafood restaurants. I would never eat here again nor would I recommend that anyone else eat here. I can list a TON of better tourist destinations to throw money away than this place.

This place is known as a tourist stop for many natives being that it's in the heart of Time Square. But it was my dad's choice to come here so we did. I can't count how many times I've seen the movie Forrest Gump so I could appreciate the restaurant decor lol. Being a vegetarian I was highly skeptical about their mushroom black bean burger, but I was pleasantly surprised! The texture was good, not too mushy and the flavor was nice. A hefty sized portion and the pickle on the side was huge! Service was timely and professional.

So glad I stopped here for lunch. While we waiting to be seated, we browsed in the gift shop. The food is great and the service was good. I had the triple seafood entree. My friend the black bean burger with fries. The raspberry iced tea was delicious. While the dessert chocolate cookie with vanilla ice cream was very good, it was almost the price of the burger.

It was one of my favorite restaurants. Yesterday, I went with my friends to celebrate my birthday.First of all the drinks and food was good⭐⭐. The service initially was good, but we finished our main course. We were waiting to sing happy birthday. The waiter (Niko. I think). Just brought us a little cake🍰 and put on the table. Immediately I asked him the birthday song. He told me that he was busy with another table.I felt disappointed and discriminated against by him. Why did he take that attitude against us. Because I visited that place 3 times ago to celebrate my friends' birthday. They were so happy when the waiters sang to them happy birthday song. I ask the bill and tell the waiter that we were here for a good time time as before. And you as a waiter had to give to us that service because this is not the first day that we were here in this restaurant.I told the host everything happened to us. We will not come back again. It was a bad experience in my birthday.

The food was really tasty, I had fish and chips. The portion size was good and the restraint is rather large and spacious upstairs. I visited in a large group, but they managed to deal with all of us very well, in terms of seating, delivering all of the correct, ordered meals and good service. The only reason i have knocked a star is that the toilets have quite a significant gap either side of the door, so much so that I could easily see other people waiting in line for a cubicle!

Bubba Gump Times Square is a NYC Must do! If you are in the Times Square area you should dine there! The coconut shrimp are out of this world!! You can add a salad for $5.99 not sure if it's worth it? Ribs and shrimp ( surf and turf) were total yum!

I was very surprised! I was not expecting the flavor and really enjoyed the New Orleans Shrimp on the menu. The grilled shrimp and sauce had fantastic flavor with a little heat created through the seasonings and not just hot sauce. Our server was very courteous and attentive. Atmosphere was fun and maintained the dedication to the film Forrest Gump.

Great food even though for the price the food portions are kind of small. Even still the waiter we had was great. He was very entertaining and came back every few minutes to make sure we didn't need anything. Great service. I definitely recommend this place and will go back again myself.

I guess many people visit the place, because it’s on the Times Square :) but it has a reason.Very tasty food, tied to the Bubba Gump concept. If you like shrimps, then this is your place. Also, we got beers and when leaving they gave us a present new beer glasses corresponding to the number of beers we had - that was so nice. And also you can buy from the shop on the first floor and Forrest Gump goodies.
